The story
On vacation at Grandma’s house, your child discovers that the forest nearby has turned gray and silent: it has forgotten the names of things.
With Hazelnut, a little squirrel in a green scarf, your child sets off on an adventure. The moss, the stream, the fireflies, the owl… Every word remembered brings back a color, until the Great Oak awakens.

Questions about this book
My child’s first name is long. Is that a problem?
No. First names of up to 20 characters are accepted, with accents, hyphens and apostrophes. On the cover, the size of the title adapts to the length of the name.
My child calls their grandmother something else.
You can replace “Grandma Rose” with any name you like: Grandma, Granny, Nana or a first name. It appears throughout the text.
What if my child is under 5?
The story is written for ages 5 to 7. For younger children, it works very well read aloud by a grown-up. Some words will simply need more explaining.
Are the illustrations different for each hero?
Yes, on every page where the hero appears: the hero is repainted on each one. A few pages without the hero (the title page, the owl, the acorn) are the same in every book.
